OFFI Mag Table as TV and Laptop Stand
Slat table: vintage from Retro@Home. Rug: a gabbeh from G. Coles-Christensen.
The OFFI Mag Table by San Francisco based Eric Pfeiffer is one of my favorite examples of the simple, beautiful utility of bent ply. I use mine as a side table between chairs, but it also makes the perfect TV stand for the TV-less: when it’s time to watch a DVD I flip the Mag on its side and set my Powerbook on top. The Mag’s shape allows it to hover over the coffee table, putting the laptop at the perfect height and distance for small-screen viewing from the sofa.
The molded plywood OFFI Mag Table is available in walnut veneer, oak, beech veneer, and black lacquer from Design Public for $139–159.

I love this design. Looks fab as a computer table. Functional and deadly cool!

Very clever idea - I love items you can get more than one useage out of!
